Living under the flight path in Richmond means that we are woken up night and morning, cannot use the garden in the summer and are subjected not only to constant roar and pollution of planes close above us. PLEASE consider the misery aircraft noise causes so many thousands of people - economic concerns are only one side of the issue.

I strongly oppose expansion of flights from Heathrow airport. It cannot make sense to blight the lives of hundreds of thousands of people just for the sake of easier access to air transport. The only reasonable future course is for the government to take account of the impact on health and wellbeing of Londoners and start to plan for air transport hubs well away from crowded population centres - such as has been achieved brilliantly in Hong Kong. This would be a far better investment in the future of our country's infrastructure.

Since the end of January 2013 I have lodged 61 complaints about aircraft noise before 6am. I rarley get a good night's sleep and increased air traffic would be unbearably noisy.

Air pollution around Heathrow already worst in country. Traffic congestion frequently reaches gridlock. Flight capacity has fallen over the past five years - a new runway will not alter that.

This would undoubtedly affect our quality of life and we would be forced to move from the area.

No! Absolutely not! Why should the people of West London have to endure this when they are already dealing with excessive noise? This should not be an option at all and other avenues should be pursued.

A definite NO to any further Heathrow expansion ! Life under flightpath would be unbearable and dangerous! The Terminal 4 Enquiry promised no further expansion!

I am a tour guide at Kew. When planes fly directly overhead it is impossible to be heard. Many visitors from overseas have been astonished that such noise is permitted over residential areas and over a Grade I Registered Landscape and World Heritage Site, which Kew is.

how has it come to this? All that consultation and now sounds like it's going to go through on the nod?
