I live under the flight path in Fulham and say NO to any increase in flights from Heathrow. I wake and go to sleep with aircraft noise. Enough!

Any further expansion of Heathrow will lead to unacceptable noise and pollution levels for the whole fo West London. I will be marching against expansion if taken forward.

Expansion at Heathrow will lead to the loss of the few hours of respite from air traffic we currently enjoy.

No other major city in the world with traffic approaching either existing or forecast levels of Heathrow air traffic would contemplate prolonging or extending the risk and environmental damage to so many residents lives. Air travel will continue to expand, with bigger planes causing more acoustic disturbance to more people on landing and with bigger engines burning more fuel before and during take off and will inevitable reach the point where there will be 1 minute intervals between movements for 24 hours a day. Therefore, it is time to confront this with foresight and ingenuity, just as other's have when they realised the future of air transport. Move it, develop an alternative to Heathrow. Keep planes out of the sky above our city!

If passengers want to change planes , let them go to the empty terminal in Charles de Gualle or the additional runways in Schipol where all the planes take off and land over the sea.

Of course airlines can be organised to use airports other than Heathrow and still serve their customers (me included).

WE need to find an alternative solution to this problem. Putting a third or even fourth runway in an area already so congested is madness. The business centre of London is shifting eastwards, surely the airports should reflect this?

Expansion of Heathrow is foolish. It needs proper competition from other airports to improve efficency
