Mr Cameron's manifesto pledge Was " Expansion at Heathrow was not necessary and would not go ahead under his government" I expect this promise to be kept. I was born in Sipson and live in Harmondsworth. My life is here, I have invested in my future here. I will not vote for any government not brave enough to take their U turn to the electorate ,prior to a general election. .

Heathrow expansion is madness... city after city around the world has recognised that a major airport within the boundaries of a city is no longer tenable. Why can't we?????

Expansion at Heathrow will mean more air and noise pollution plus a devastating loss of good quality housing stock. All those forced out of their homes - where will they be able to move to be close to their family, friends and employment?

We are woken up by planes at 5am most days, we already can't enjoy our outside space in the summers due to the thrust of the engines flying over. More planes means even more disruption. The south west of London is a beautiful place to live and we have a right to enjoy it, not be tortured by more planes. Use Gatwick, improve rail links and do not congest our city even more.

The noise starts every day at 4.30am waking us every day. It's so close and loud it sounds as if the planes are about to fly into our roof. There is no need for flights this early and it's totally unfair we should be burdened with even more noise torture. Get better rail options from Gatwick and move there!

Further Heathrow Expansion is not justified as it will require further M25 expansion and calls for yet another Terminal, bringing West London and Surrey to a stand-still.
