No other major European city has a large international airport within its boundaries. The reasons include the destruction of the quality of life of thousands of people, and the danger of crashes over densely populated urban areas.

There is no room in the skies for more planes to land safely during the hours of 6 am and 11 pm, which is already not adhered to. We will all be in danger of unacceptable air pollution and noise pollution if there is any further expansion. Please take heed of our plight.

I was woken yesterday (Saturday) morning by the first flights into LHR at 04.35am. I live 3km away from the line of flight. Would you move your family under the final descent path and increase the volume?

I strongly object to any further Heathrow expansion. We get planes overhead already at 11.30 at night which stops us sleeping. Build another airport in the estuary where it is less populated to support Heathrow
