What will it take to arrive at the realisation that Heathrow cannot expand indefinitely? A catastrophic accident? Let's accept a radical solution is needed NOW

I do not accept that Heathrow needs to be a hub. Transfer passengers bring no benefit to UK and would prefer direct flights.

It is wrong to expand an airport located in a densely populated area. The pollution and risk of a swerious accident make it unsafe.Heathrow Airport was opened when few people flew and was never designed to cope with the traffic it has now,let alone more. A new airport should be built in a thinly populated are. A courageous decision is required.

to increase traffic to Heathrow would be dangerous folly.

We cannot cope with any more noise and to suggest a massive expansion of Heathrow is outrageous.

Cameron: you would not be forgiven for reneging on such a clear anti-Heathrow expansion position.

Opposed - Already far to much noise all hours of the day and night - only 4.5 hours respite a day now if you are lucky

Please do not add further stress to this local community that already has extensive airplane traffic. Our economy can still prosper by adding runways to other sites. Nor should we want to have too many airplanes directly over the london skyline in these less certain time.

The whole pitch to expand Heathrow is driven by greedy people who do not care a damn about the tens of thousands of Londoners who are blighted by aircraft noise as early as 4-30 am & as late as 11pm, 7 days a week. Surely enough is enough. If an organisation was applying for Heathrow to be built from new on it's current site today, it could not surely ever get planning permission.

No to Heathrow expansion. Heathrow has over the past 18months altered the flight patterns, which means that planes are flying in lower and more frequently than in the past. Heathrow expansion would be intolerable to those living under the flight path. Our property is well insulated, has double glazing (in some rooms acoustic glass) and we are still woken by the planes at 430 in the morning, so offering to insulate/double glaze those living in the area is not going to help. Like others during the summer we were having to shut our doors or stop our coversaiton to hold a coversation. The above is on a personal level. On a purely > level Heathrow expansion is short ter

The noise in Kew is currently intolerable. The thought of any extra noise is unbearable.
