The noise from the planes still running at 1am and starting at 4 or 5am is inhumane and affecting our people's health. There will be a point where people start to leave the area. On one hand you say you care for open spaces of which Richmond Park is second to none, and yet the aeroplanes continue to increase in number over this area. Be more creative with spreading the load and build the supporting infrastructure elsewhere. Think longer term. The environment it important.

This is total madness, be brave and make the investment in an airport for the future in the Thames Estuary

A modern and competiive London needs a new airport which can be expaned when need with all the inquires which ignore the folk that liove close by and runs 24 hours a day. That will win traffic back from Holland , Germany and France and mean we can fly fdirect to every Chinese city that matters. and become the main European hub. If a plane comes down it will be into the water and not in a houses where folk live. Heathrow is truely dreadful airport and expensive and making a dreaful aorport bigger makes it a bigger mess, wake up.

Flights currently going over head at 4.30am are unacceptable and this will only get worse with the expansion of LHR

There is too much noise and too much congestion already for those of us who live in Richmond

Heathrow flights already cause misery to millions across London, with their impact going far beyond west London. I will never vote for a party that backs expanding Heathrow.

looks like another "consultation" with a pre-determined outcome!!

Heathrow's location as London's main airport was a mistake universally acknowledged. Why compound a mistake? How about some original thinking.

There are better options that expanding Heathrow - like reducing air traffic and the associated pollution, greenhouse gasses etc. And if politicians do not have the courage to do this, there are better anwsers for expansion than over the most densely populated corner of SE England.

A new modern airport is required to deal with the future. A third runway at Heathrow will result in a 4th, and so on. Also planes should not be flying over such a densely populated area.

Do no compound the original indefensible seizure of land to build Heathrow by further inflicting multiple pollution on those who live in the area.

I am astounded that this Government with the promises they made before election are even suggesting this. Will you ever keep the promises you set out to get to win votes?? Disgusting behaviour for public servants!

Increasing the number of flight paths over London increases the chance of an accident involving an aircraft crashing into a residential area. If the fuel lines of the BA777 that just made it over the airport fence a few years ago had frozen just a couple of minutes earlier, the catastrophe that would have followed would have stopped all talk of expanding Heathrow. Instead, we now have to wait for one to happen before the airport is moved.

Noise already impacts on quality of life, adding stress and tension, disturbing sleep and aggravating asthma. It is also already impossible to have a conversation in the garden during a large proportion of the summer months.
