This area is already blighted by aircracft noise, especially at night. This noise often feels continuous. It is hard to imagine life with more of this continous noise. There have to be alternatives found.

If you think this will only affect people in west London, think again. I am woken virtually every morning before 5am by Heathrow planes and I live in south east London. Heaven help us if a third runway gets the go-ahead.

Any expansion of Heathrow would be very detrimental to residents of West London.

A pensioner and with arthritis, I am very reliant on bus and tube services, particularly on the District, Central and Piccaddilly lines. These services would inevitably by adversely impacted by getting LHR up to its current potential capacity, let alone a greater future capacity resulting from increased runway length. I cannot support any miore runways at LHR while there are unexploited alternatives, notably the 2 airports in Sussex and Essex. Don't do it and rue it!

I really am tired of this debate. How many years now?? A third runway will increase noise, traffic and the possiblity of a major incident if implemented. A big nno fro Mortalke and Sheen I can assure you!!

Further expansion of Heathrow cannot be the long term solution for UK aviation. The UK needs to be bolder and show greater vision in developing airport facilities which better serve the needs of the UK population as a whole. Serious and appropriate consideration needs to be given in these decisions over the quality of life impact that further expansion of Heathrow will have to residents of London and the surrounding area.
