There should be a limit to the damage to London's health by aircraft noise and pollution.

I live and work directly under the flight path, I cannot open windows at night in hot weather as I am woken at 4.15 am and cannot sit in my garden or hold a conversation with a neighbour over the fence. These are pleasures in life, the aeroplane noise alienates my community

The only crisis in London's airports is that Heathrow is already too big. Stop its expansion and the market will find other solutions to passenger growth. Do not ruin west London for the convenience of a minority of business transfer passengers. And, finally, remember that blind pursuit of 'growth' for London at the behest of the airline and travel industries will ruin he city that people now value so highly.

It is crazy to expand an already overcrowded airport on the west of the city when there is space to create a super competitive travel hub on the east

Horrified at the thought of having more planes over this densely residential part of London. I streneuously back Boris's plan for a Medway airport.

For £50 billion a new Thames estuary airport is far better value for the UK economy than HS2

The case for yet more noise, pollution and disruption of the lives of a large number of families across West London has yet to be made.

My family are woken every day at 4:30am and often planes fly overhead throughout the day in clear contravention of the rules supposedly giving us some respite from the noise. A third runway will only lead to more planes, noise and misery for many.
