No third runway! I oppose it on personal (lack of sleep) grounds and because of the environmental impact of air travel. Come on - let's get creative and avoid this damage to ourselves and the environment.

Do the people recommending the expansion of Heathrow actually live on the flightpath? That includes their near family. Do they have any idea of the disruption to sleep? Any idea of how how important it is to the human condition? spread the load.And what about the danger to a densely populated area?It's madness, and cruelty and in the name of big business.

Third or even fourth runway would be catastrophic to the infrastructure, which at present is at full capacity in all directions, ie. roads (including previously widened M25), transport, air pollution and noise.

Even less justifiable than HS2. The only reason it is under consideration is that the Government frittered away time, so there isn't the effective opportunity to set up a completely new hub in a sensible place.

We have too much noise from aircraft as it is. The pollution is very bad. I think that we are the only capital city that have aircraft flying over head to land and take off.

Please do not bow to the Heathrow big business bully boys who just care about their profits?? Why should London residents have to suffer when there are more innovative and environmentally-friendly solutions to meet the UK's air travel needs?

I am strongly opposed to any further expansion of Heathrow. I have concerns over polluntion, having such a busy airport in such close proximity to a large densely populated area and to the detrimental effect that this airport has on the quality of life for people living within a significant radius around Heathrow.

Noise from Heathrow is just about acceptable now in Twickenham; an increase in noise levels would be stressful and detrimental to my well being.
