desperate to avoid runway expansion; the trial in ways of usuing existing runways to bring in more flights has shown the horror of living under flightpast with little or no respite from aircraft noise. Othere ares of greater London should have to take teir share of the noise and disruption rather than expanding Heathrow

just because a historical event allowed an urban airport such as heathrow airport to exist this does not justify or permit its continued expansion. An airport at Heathrow would never be permitted if it were being proposed from scratch. The noise pollution that thousands of people are facing must be abated and must under no circumstances be increased.the advantages travellers and commerce must be balanced against the rights of people to good health

We suffer enough in East Sheen with the noise of planes overhead without the expansion of Heathrow. The thought of an extra runway and possibly two doesn't bear thinking about.

Seems strangeha he got should have enough money to finance this whilst they sre also cutting back on other services eith an additional ost of displacing thousads of families and destroying many communities. In the end the taxpayer pays for it.

Any expansion of Heathrow would create further air and noise pollution and an increased threat of serious accident, given its close proximity to such a large built-up area.

Heathrow is already over congested with an intolerable burden on the long suffering residence of the neighbouring areas. There are plenty of greenfield sites which could host a new airport within easy proximity of London where no such issues would arise.

Ground level exhausts from thouhsands of road vehicles serving the airport and passengers, daily, now emit dangerous levels of pollution that everyone should be alarmed abou now; The costructio of a new airport/enterprise downwind could save London

Planes on the northerly approach to Heathrow fly directly over our house. The noise greatly affects our sleep and general quality of life!

The flights badly disturb my sleep, which makes me less effective in the day at work and at weekends they spoil my time outside.

No wonder people lose faith in politicians when they break their promises
