Expansion of Heathrow is not an option

We're supposedly spending billions to connect the south to the north by rail, and yet overloading the south with air capacity. Aside from the planning blight and noise nightmare locally, surely the bigger picture would be to increase capacity in the north?

NO expansion of Heathrow -- if anything you should be looking at ways to reduce its size and volume of traffic .

Stop. Your plans will completely destroy one of the most beautiful parts of London. What are you doing?? You mustn't do it. It is destruction on a massive and dreadful scale. Think about it, it is dreadful pollution and noise pollution.

Having objected to the Labour Government's plan for a Third Runway I am pleased to do the same for the Tory plans to do something similar.

The noise from planes passing overhead is so loud at times that a conversation in our garden is not possible. When passing at low height our children hold their ears. We have double glazing but it only helps so much. The current noise pollution is enough to disturb sleep at early and late hours and affect the quality of living. We are not alone and further Heathrow expansion would affect the health and quality of life of many households, town centres, children and adults.

Not again! And there's no such thing as a quiet plane when it's just over your house.
