As I write at 06.47, planes are passing noisily overhead. A bold decision is needed to spare West Londoners from intolerable noise pollution. A new airport where planes can land and take off without passing over heavily built up areas is the obvious answer. Britain should invest in a proper long term solution.

Polution levels are already very high. Our property is covered in black fall out from the air having been painted only 3 months ago. What does this do for our health?

Bad enough already when we get the flight path - no more! Move all the aircraft noise out of London, Boris Island bothers far fewer residents!

Airplane noise seems to be increasing with planes coming in to land lower, and landing and taking off earlier although we are told this is not the case.

Heathrow's location is no longer fit for purpose. It blights property values and expansion is a false saving. Get

There will be a public uprising like no other ever seen if Heathrow expansion is allowed. Drop it immediately.

David Cameron said " NO ifs or buts no third runway." Nick Clegg told a capacity audience in Central Hall Westminster " NO THIRD RUNWAY". Ed Milliband threatened to resign if Gordon Brown went ahead with a third runway. These leaders must not be allowed to now defer their current position on this until after? the next election.

I was a West Drayton resident while working at Brunel University. I am appalled that my former neighbours, having beaten off Heathrow's land grab, now have to fight again.
