The increase in planes, noise and pollution which would result from any additional runways is a true killer to the massive number of local residence. This expansion cannot be more important that life and its quality.

I do not accept that London needs a 'hub' airport in order to compete more effectively. There are many other environmental and other considerations of importance. It would be intolerable for those of us living under the flightpaths if Heathrow were to expand.if o No more noise!

This makes absolutely no sense I can't understand how 16 billion can be ploughed into HS2, which is another story in itself, but defies belief the Government refuse to look at a totally new airport

Myself and my wife have just recently bought our first family home in our dream location of Chiswick – we’re already now facing an uncertain future there. A better option would be to build a new, state of the art, airport in a more remote location with good, quick links in to London. The government have a responsibility to come up with a solution that does not adversely affect millions of Londoners’ quality of life – and massively devalue one of London’s best suburbs in the process. The party that finds a better way, will certainly get my vote at the next election.

A third runway will increase not just noise and pollution but will also increase still further the risk of a catastrophic accident over the UK's biggest city. Boris Island is a real choice for the future.
