If the government wants to be thinking ahead it needs to do so, not just in monetary terms but in quality of living. Also expanding Heathrow will diminish the quality of living for the entire West of London, which contains some of the highest Tax contributing boroughs in the entire country !

The traffic, noise and pollution from Heathrow Airport is bad enough already

Heathrow is full, and there is room to expand at Luton, Gatwick and Stansted. Added to that, air pollution above London is already above EU limits! Listen to the people instead of pandering to big business!

London and especially south west London is blighted by aircraft noise and pollution form planes. We wake at 6am with the first arrival and we need to have more pride and less inconvenience from planes.

Heathrow is full. There is no room to expand without wrecking the communities near by. If we must expand- build a new airport somewhere else- somewhere where it will not affect people. Otherwise- go without!

There is no room to expand Heathrow Airport without tearing apart the very community it is supposed to support. It is time to put local people first for once. Why should we suffer while someone else makes a profit?

When flights take off over Ealing, (particularly bad during the summer months), we are completely unable to hear ourselves speaking at home and certainly not in our garden. Inside our house the noise between 8pm and 10pm at night is invasive. I am against this expansion of Heathrow as it is a stopgap solution to the need for airport expansion. If expansion is to truly impact the UK economy, then more runways are needed and these shoudl be built away from the most built up area of all - Heathrow Airport.

I don't want more air traffic into the already busy heathrow. It already has a detrimental affect on health and well being of local residents.

Dangerous, even MORE noise and air pollution. Gridlocks etc.
