As an alum, I respectfully request that you do not allow WCU to serve as a platform for the racist ideology of Donald Trump. Class of 1990.

As a double graduate (BS '01, MS '06) I count WCU as one of my happy places. Don't let this hater mongering ass-clown sully our school!

On a simplistic level, West Chester strives to create a place where all feel safe. Mr. Trump, encourages his supporters to harm those who disagree with him. We do not need nor want his brand of violence on our campus.

I'm disgusted that our university chose to allow this to happen. I'm embarrassed that I live in a place that would willingly encourage Drumpf to speak publicly. However, I am also reassured by the fact that everybody I know feels as ashamed of this decision as I do. But whatever- my average-sized hands are tied.

I am a proud purple and gold alum and bringing the hate that Donald Trump represents to campus would be a slap in the face to the community that he WCU students have worked to build. For the safety of current students and the West Chester community at large I urge university leadership to stop this before students loose their faith in the university they expect to represent them.

Shame on all of you hypocrites. How can you preach acceptance and comraderie and then turn around and crucify trump and all his supporters? According to this petition and the some of the comments, if there's even one student that supports trump, then he should be allowed to speak. I mean really, its not like his going to hypnotize or brainwash the rest of you into voting for him so let him say his piece and stop demonizing everyone who has different world or political views than you do.

As a West Chester alumni, I strongly agree that WCU is no place for the negativity and hate that Trump is associated with.

This pisses me off that they would allow him....but it doesn't surprise me. Back in my day (09-13) we were told to leave the angry protestors telling us we were going to hell, alone and ignore them as they harassed students. So I can see how they would let Trump come with his hate speach, and promotions of violence and discrimination. This isn't right.
