WCU Alumni - I will be embarrassed if they host Trump. Get your bigotry out of here. Feel the Bern!

Please let's not consider a failed reality tv host as president. My grandparents were republicans and they'd be rolling in their graves if they knew a casino owner was running for president. We don't need caveman mentality anywhere near nuclear weapons.

We do not need his ridiculous views and values spewed around the West Chester/Philadelphia area.

As an alumni, it's extremely disappointing to see that WCU would even consider bringing such an uninformed bigot to campus. They're showing their support to the wrong person!

West Chester University is a proud establishment and to tarnish that by allowing someone so vile to speak there would take some of my pride in the school away. Please don't let that happen.

While I respect freedom of speech in this country, I also believe in the right for students, alumni, and members of the WCU community to protest the appearance of a presidential candidate whose beliefs do not represent the will of our community. As alumni, I do not find Donald Trump's message conducive to the celebration of diversity that WCU has and should continue to celebrate. His appearance is not worth the publicity and notoriety for the university; instead, let WCU gain the notoriety for standing up to this divisive candidate and standing up for the people who have actually contributed to and represented this community.

As an institution that is so advanced, inclusive and passionate about the rights of all students (race, lgbtq, religions) it is heartbreaking to see that Wcu would allow themselves to support someone who has spread so much hate

While it may be argued that we should welcome diverse views, this man appears to be so arrogant, rude, and hateful that no decent respectful institution should invite him. What on earth are WCU officials thinking? He initiates hateful chants at his meetings and we have video evidence that he encourages his supporters to beat up anyone who disagrees with him.
No thank you!
