West Chester University has long stood for diversity, equality, and acceptance of all people regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation or gender identity. These values of tolerance and respect are at the very foundation of everything West Chester University students stand for, and are an integral part of what makes the university the unique and cultured melting pot that it is today. Unfortunately, Mr. Trump's values are far from reflecting those of the majority of WCU students. Time and time again, Mr. Trump has demonstrated racism, sexism, bigotry, homophobia and other forms of intolerance and hate. We at West Chester University will not allow such hatred to be promoted at our campus, and therefore ask that those in charge prevent Mr. Trump for holding such a rally on our campus.

His divisive rhetoric and shameless pandering to a frightening group of followers truly represents the worst in our society. Association with such an international embarrassment can bring to no good to the University. You will always be judged by the company you keep.

Not only do I not want Mr. Trump to come to WCU, but also his supporters. Many of them, due to their actions at his previous rallies, pose a threat to the safety of students and fellow residents of West Chester.

I stand with the community that Donald Trump has no business at Chester University. He is a dangerous duplicitous carnival barker who spews his venom wherever he lands. Proud of those fighting to keep this little man away from CU,

As a college educated WOMAN with two degrees I personally find this mans views to be very offensive. I can't figure out what makes him so appealing to many. The international community is laughing at us right now. Can't wait to see what happens at the Republican Convention. That being said --
Stay safe WCU students, listen, learn from this process. Think ahead to the future of your country and utilize your education to make solid, informed decisions.
