Donald Trump has continually urged his supporters to use physical violence against anyone offering opposing viewpoints at his rallies. And, not unexpectedly, there have been numerous instances where the 'audience' and his staff have attached protesters.
I understand that WCU is an advocate of free speech, but given Donald Trumps advocacy for violence, I think it is unacceptable that the WCU student body and WCU staff should be placed in such a dangerous statement.

I do not go to school in West Chester U, but all I gotta say I AM SO PROUD OF ALL WCU students who are standing up against someone who not only incites violence, but calls out to people to be involved in sadistic acts of racism, homophobia, discrimination, and TERROR. I am SO PROUD to call West Chester my HOME. Let this day be the day that DRUMPF sees the power of a nation that will NOT tolerate this kind of abuse. A nation that WILL NOT be submissive to injustice. A place where his vision of success and "MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN" is simply ABSURD and UNACCEPTABLE!! Thank you, WCU students!!

As a graduate of West Chester University, I am DISGUSTED. Essentially, WCU is putting their stamp of approval on a bigoted, sexist presidential candidate. REVOLTING. A public, liberal arts college should not play host to an individual like Donald Trump -- giving him a platform to further spread his ideas and message of hate and intolerance. The University is supposed to be a safe space for the entire student body. Donald Trump's entire platform speaks almost directly in contrast to the college's nondiscrimination platform, which states that, "West Chester University is committed to providing leadership in extending equal opportunities to all individuals. Accordingly, the University will continue to make every effort to provide these rights to all persons regardless of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, creed, national or ethnic origin, citizenship status, age, disability, veteran status or any other legally protected class status in the administration of its admission, financial aid, educational or athletic programs, University-sponsored activities and programs, or in its employment practices." What a complete and utter disappointment.

In Harrisburg, PA a 17 year old girl was peacefully protesting with a t-shirt that said Dump Trump, purposefully staying away from loud, angry protesters. She was arrested!! That is who Donald Trump is. Someone who encourages peaceful protesters to be arrested and who encourages division, not unity.

As an alumni i'm saddened that the university has decided to host and support the campaign of a candidate that represents division, exclusion and has crossed the line of offensive behavior so many times . This isn't a matter of different view points its a matter of unacceptable rhetoric. This is an embarrassment to my degree and my background.

I am shocked the town I have called home for over a decade would sink to the level of having this man speak. His clear acceptance of hate is what is intolerable.

Good for you! We didn't want him in our city either! But the event steam rolled right along :(. Now taxpayers get to pick up a tab for apparently $30,000 in overtime police force security, to keep our city safe when he stopped by to preach hate. Meanwhile our city is so broke it is being "forced to sell" our public park lands to private housing developers, because the people don't use the open space "enough". Dump tRump.
