The construction of this refugee camp is not considered from the perspective of the residents of the Barrhaven community. There is a lot of uncertainty about it, which is imposed and irresponsible for the residents of the community. Currently, all essential services are located downtown, which is quite a distance from our area. Without adequate transportation options, it would be challenging for them to access necessary resources and support.
I think it might be more beneficial to consider alternative solutions that ensure they have easy access to the services they require. Perhaps collaborating with organizations downtown to provide transportation or temporary accommodation closer to those services could be explored
