The Highbury location is not suitable .It is too near to many schools and residential areas with children. The community do not feel safe and protected. Retirement seniors home nearby too. Barrhaven already very congested with traffic..There should be a location nearer to government offices and hospitals e.g. near civic hospitals. No Tents and Not In Barrhaven.

Barrhaven is not the right neighbourhood for this structure. The transportation is horrible to other areas of city. Not being linked to the lrt. We have a huge shortage of physicians. Limited places of employment in the direct area. No nightlife. This should be built somewhere within the east end that has direct access to the lrt ... or within city limits. These people need better job prospects and resources that are not available in Barrhaven.

I attended the Barrhaven protest on November 5th. Issues brought forward like the lack of infrastructure nearby and living conditions for those housed in the structure(s) area huge concern. Moreover, issues like space taken up in hotels and other facilities is unacceptable, and affects the quality of life for residents. Maybe there should be more feedback back to the Federal Gov't, for its immigration and refugee policy who created this issue in the first place. By the way, has anyone calculated the cost of maintaining the proposed structures? What extra cost will be levied against taxpayers?
