Strongly disagree with having tents for refugees within the neighborhood, this is not the place for it. Better place would be to repurpose unused building downtown. This would strongly impact the neighborhood we have invested our whole lives in. As other people mentioned you are looking for a lawsuit if you are moving forward with this.

We do need this shelter here in Barrhaven. Can be found another location ! Look what happened during day time at 11.30 in a park on Paul Anca street a mother stubbed at a parc when she was with her children at day time !

This location not only affects Barrhaven, but surrounding communities. Whichever location is decided upon, there must be adequate appropriate support services which Barrhaven is not able to provide

With out consultation you don’t have any rights to put a shelter in my area. You don’t even have the right to make us pay a levy in the first place. You are looking for a major law suit. Respect the rights of people. Don’t be another fraudulent act the city done for the stonebridge people for force ng them to pay a levy when other community was not asked to pay.

This location would not allow for for the inhabitants of this housing complex to have easy access to social and public services.
The area is also already seen an increase in petty and more significant crime.
Has the following location been considered? It seems to be incredibly central with access to not only necessities, but also social support services.
Has 599 Tremblay on ottawa been studied as a possible option?
