Dear City of Ottawa, its embarrassing that you are placing people in tents, specially in a location that is already over populated for the resources that we get, when you have many empty buildings just sitting there. We the Barrhaven residents are not ok with this massive intrusive move the city wants to do to us. Barrhaven does NOT have the capacity to accommodate this project. Most of these people are coming from tents, just to be placed in a another tent, OTTAWA, CANADA DO BETTER.

Our neighborhood already experiences considerable strain on resources such as schools, healthcare facilities, law enforcement, and public services. Adding another group of residents could further exacerbate these issues, affecting current residents significantly.
I respectfully urge you to consider alternative locations that may be better equipped to support such a facility, allowing us to maintain balance within our community while still addressing the needs of incoming refugees.

Why not downtown where you are trying to get people to go. You can surely find more suitable and humane conditions there. There are a ton of buildings that can be emptied and renovated to be used for this purpose.

Je suis un Papa et un Grand-papa très très très inquiet de ce qui se passe tout proche du secteur où mon fils et ça petite famille restent ,quel non sens d'implanter des piqueries dans ce secteur plein de familles ,d'enfants surtout qui vont êtres mient en danger à journée longue,je vous en prie monsieur le maire allez ailleurs
