Use the base at the airport (ie existing infrastructure) and decrease immigration until we can support more, that is, service those that are here now and require sponsers.

Please No tent here. Our community resources are already stretched.

Why would we put 150 refugees potentally coming from war torn countries, ripe with ptsd responses to their surroundings on one of the busiest commute areas, surrounded by schools, perhaps causing congestion blocking the fire station and posing a ridiculous risk to the safety of our children in the multitude of surrounding schools. My son and I both have multiple disabilities and are unable to find a place to live here with our landlord, who is trying to kick a soat, because he wants to raise the rent beyond the legal thresholds. There are no services available to help us. I've looked far and wide, all we have. Is the food bank? There are no resources. My son does not get therapy he needs.I do not get the therapy I need, and we are at a completely vulnerable and weak position. Yet we're going to add in all of these people. There is certainly a better location for them, and you need to make sure that we safeguard the people in our community, particularly the children. This is a very very bad plan. Who takes care of my son who's 8 years old and has multiple disabilities who's there to take care of him in the community? Nobody. Let's take care of hour citizens first before we add more. In fact, let's get rent groceries and gas prices lowered to something reasonable. Now we want to add in a whole bunch of more homeless people in a tent when I already see people sleeping in the toronto dominion bank at strandherd. You've got to have a screw loose. Whoever planned this. Our civilization and structure is beginning to unravel because of the greed in the people making the decisions.

Barrhaven is NOT the place for this. We are struggling with current infrastructure as it is.

A Liberal problem created by mismanagement and poor planning - bring people with lack of housing, lack of hospital, lack of doctors, lack of nurses & lack of jobs and a tax bill for us hard-working people. What is the Liberals thinking???

I have young kids and I have no desire to have a tent anywhere near my home in Barrhaven . I pay extremely high taxes. I have my own business and there is alternative spots available. NOT Barrhaven

Barrhaven resident area is not an appropriate location to house single male asylum seekers. Experimental Farm is a good place for the tents.

A tent ghetto is setting people up for failure. Spread the newcomers around across the province/ country. A 50 year tent solution is idiotic. How about some consultation.

Barrhaven does not have enough services to support this. Also, this is no way to house people.
