This just not make any sense to have the shelter located in Barrhaven. Mayor Sutcliffe, you are a smart and logical man. Please think this through as I believe that there is a better solution. In order to assist these people, they need to be close to the locations where the help is available. Barrhaven is a community in the outskirts of the City and they should be closer to the City centre. Please rethink.

Sheltering migrants, and funding such sheltering, is not a city municipal responsibility. Isn't it time the municipality stayed in its lane. These costs should sit at the levels of gov they bolong: federal primarily; provincial secondarily.
