Property taxes are way too high and need to be lowered

During this time of unemployment and being a single income there is no way I could take another increase. It is not fair.

Now is not the time to raise property taxes yet again. Property owners are feeling the pain of the increases of the last several years. Most of us don’t want the square parking redone. We have a surplus as it is. Time to be thrifty fir a bit.

It's not actually a tax increase yet.........but we all know when the state rescinds the assessment percentage rollback property taxes will jump again and then the city can push the blame on the state. Subversive activity on the City of Indianola.

Frustrating that they would choose the time when the rest of the US is looking to give breaks during a worldwide pandemic. Very disappointed and frustrated our city council decided this was the time to raise taxes. Delay it, support your base during this time.

Raised taxes once that's enough they wouldn't take care of the old court house so now they want us to pay unreasonable amount for new law center I say no
