STOP bringing in businesses! When people were profiled in the paper, one question they were all asked was what do you like about a Aledo? They all had the same answer......the small town feel. And the people running the town keeps trying to bringing in businesses. People didn't move here hoping it would grow! Don't you get that? They moved here knowing there are no restaurants, knowing they would have to drive for certain things. Why are people changing that?? If the city wants more money because more people are moving here, charge the developers. Better yet, keep the developers out due to over crowding our roads.

Yes the future holds change, but we as a community should expect more in the way of change. We should be setting the standard, not the other way around. If franchise restaurants are what you want, then bring family franchises... Zoes, Chili's, Outback, Chipotle's. Give breaks to smaller buisness and let them establish themselves and help pave the future of Aledo. A 2010 developmental plan was created... what happened????
