Just not the right location for a supportive housing project that will allow transplanted homeless persons with questionable backgrounds to hang out, drink and do drugs. It will be a home base with young family neighbourhoods, schools and vulnerable communities in it's path.

Very concerned about the proposed development I would be afraid of walking in Sage Creek by myself It's easy for outsiders to gain access to our community Thank you for consideration of my vulnerability

BC housing should take in consideration the people who they plan to put in this facility. With no services available they are going to cross highway 97 to access everything.Other wet facilities have been successfully built but NOT in a residential area. There has to be a better location to benefit everyone.

We just moved into this beautiful community last year. There was no mention of this type of facility opening so close by. Did Freeport know that this could happen so close to their development.? Had we known we would not have purchased here. I agree that that this will result in higher cases of theft and vandalism. We are definitely opposed to this project.

"Wet facilities" do not work. Period. Ask any community member in Rutland who live in close proximity to one of these facilities. I don't care what the politicians say....crime will go up, our property values will go down and our neighborhood will no longer be safe. If I had known that this nonsense was even being considered, I would NOT have purchased in Sage Creek. I understand the need to house the homeless, but not at the expense of vulnerable seniors and children. Why this government continues to enable addicts by making them more comfortable while they continue to spiral further into addiction baffles me.

Strongly oppose to the supportive housing project on Cougar Road because it does not provide adequate services to those living in the housing project and as well it is too near an extremely vulnerable seniors population as well as a heavily populated residential area with children and schools.

With so many young children living in the area and there are many why would you put a facility like that in amongst young people

I am very concerned that this project will result in even higher cases of theft and vandalism than we have now.

I have already expressed my ongoing concerns over this facility being built so near to our Sage Creek Development. There have been many incidents of break ins, car theft, gasoline spillage resulting from gasoline theft that was left draining onto Carrington Road and entered into street drains. Homes had to be evacuated because of the possibility of there being an explosion because of the fumes entering into Sage Creek homes. Mine being one of them. We would surely realize a devaluation in the worth of our homes as well. We want to keep Sage Creek a desirable and safe place to live. We do not have enough police force to patrol our area so we were required to have residents volunteer to safeguard our Sage Creek compound through the summer nights. Thank you. Cauleene Pollock

Deeply concerned about attracting a larger problem. You can only change those that want to change. Cannot pamper the addict.
