This is not meant to be anywhere near WFN land at all, & the infrastructure for them is just not in place...

Our concerns are based in part on what happened at the temporary shelter this summer at the Super 8 in West Kelowna. Residence saw obvious drug dealing and movement of stolen property. We’ve talked to a friend or ours who is a second stage housing manager who works with street people and those who have been in and out of prison for drug related charges. He tells us that the majority of the homeless have drug issues which leads to crime to support their habit. Also, that 90% of the offenders in Kamloops Regional Correctional Centre and Okanagan Correctional Centre are in there because of drug related crimes. When they get out, the majority go right back into their old life which means they will be bringing crime to our neighbourhood.

I strongly oppose this wet house in my neighbourhood. Not only will it decrease the property value of our homes, it will increase the crime in our subdivision.

A facility of this stature is being proposed in a residential area. There are no amenities to support a business like this in our area.

This is too close to large subdivisions with young children and schools. Keep our children safe!

My worry is that theft/vandalism in the area will go up and my son will experience some sort of negative experience while in his own neighbourhood. Please reconsider the location of this facility.

Not in a family neighborhood thanks.
Buffer areas would be more suitable

This is definitely not the right location for a facility like this. There are far to many families with children, and seniors (our most vulnerable!) for a facility like this to open in the area, let alone the increase in criminal
activity it is likely to bring.

This is absolutely the wrong area to place this proposed facility. Demographic is a family and retiree area. Please preserve our peaceful existence here.

We have enough problems and issues already in our "gated community" with theft, car break ins and general concerns. This will add greatly to an already disturbing issue. Sage Creek is a community built with care and structure and respect. Let's not lose that!!!!

With regards to the BC Housing Project on WFN land, I oppose the government to use this site. As a wet house, will it draw drug users, who do not live in the complex. Will it turn into another Leon St. finding used condoms and syringes on the street. We have families with children living near this area. Will I be safe walking, not approached by homeless and drug users. Will the ravine become a tent city being close to the Wet House. This could cause problems for the local community. This would be a perfect and beautiful setting for a Seniors Complex.

I am in support of some elements of supportive housing. This is just not the right location and little thought has gone into the selection.
