Please extend the current location on Main in Morgan Hill. We live on Burchell Road and all of the locations are highly intrusive and will change the rural nature of our area.
Thank you very much for your consideration.

The obvious is the esthetic impact a substation would have in the Day/Watsonville/Redwood Retreat area, especially so close in proximity to Hwy 152, a scenic byway. This area welcomes locals and many tourists that drive by our western foothills and over Hecker Pass to the the coast. Beautiful vineyards, especially now with colorful fall leaves, attracts those out for a meandering drive or brings visitors to the wineries for tasting. Summer events with music has built a thriving business in the area, improving the local economy.
My biggest concern is one year after The Butte fire, in Amador & Calaveras Counties, there is still devastation in that area. Over 500 hundred homes were lost and many victims still have nothing, but thankfully, their lives.
The reason is directly related to a power line touching a tree and this is the fault of PG&E because of the inability to maintain trees in the area. Can you promise this will not happen here? As with PG&E, and any monopolizing public utility or large company, it’s the consumers that will pay the price…literally (to cover your losses).
I do not want the landscape so drastically changed. Please consider a less environmentally invasive location, even if resulting in higher costs having to install additional transmission lines.

Even YOU-- PGE employees-- love the beauty of the California countryside. The south county wine trail is beautiful for all to enjoy. Don't ruin yet another area of tranquility with yet another industrial eyesore. I'm sure you can find a better place. Thank you !

I live on Burchell road. Also I ride my bike regularly on the scenic roads here in south county and would hate to see the destruction of these beautiful places.

All of the proposed locations are in rural scenic areas with nearby housing and are unsuitable for a large industrial complex like a substation.

The substation will ruin the scenery. It will affect our property value. No walls or landscaping will hide or soften the substation. No on substation.

Between fire danger and possible attacks none of these sites are sensible.

This project is a hazard for the neighborhood.
PG&E, please, use your common sense and pick a more suitable location for this project.
Thanks you for being socially responsible.

there was the recent oak fire that was caused by a Bird hitting a powerline .
Adding the substation in a high fire danger are is not a smart idea, It will disturb the wildlife and give them an even smaller area to live ,

This would be a albatross in what is a beautiful rural area, Few areas left like this in Santa Clara County and should not be disturbed by such a unsightly development.

Protect the rural areas of Gilroy, Morgan Hill and Watsonville. These are precious spaces; they are not infinite.

Please DO NOT destroy the natural beauty of the "Wine Trail" and the Watsonville Corridor. This substation would increase a fire danger of an area that already has HIGH fire danger. LEAVE OUR LAND ALONE!!

We live on Armsby Lane and the fire danger is extremely high. A power station increases the danger and being at the top of Armsby there is only one way out.
