PG&E has no regard for the environment!!! We need to protect our water, air quality, endangered species, wildlife and South County Wine Trail. We, stewards of the land, need to leave these beautiful lands intact for our future generations. Stop the pollution PG&E.

There's plenty of room for expansion at the existing substation at Main and Hale in Morgan Hill. Putting a new substation anywhere in the Watsonville Rd. corridor would have a negative impact on the residents, the ranches and the wineries. Add to that the fire danger and the security concerns, this really should be a no-brainer.

I moved to this area to enjoy the rural lifestyle. Stop the urban sprawl!!! A substation will be a blight on any of the proposed sites and will endanger wildlife and humans alike.

Much too close to our only source of water that supplies 72 homes in the El Matador Drive area.

An industrial substation in this area would forever ruin the natural environment which is the essential part of this area.

As aresident in the proposed area I am very concerned about locating the substation in the Watsonville.

In a beautiful rural area with a burgeoning wine industry, this would be an absolute boondoggle and is a wholly inappropriate location.

I am definitely not in favor of such an infringement of a beautiful rural setting. Please consider setting up in a more appropriate place.

I think they can come up with a much better place with our creating a fire hazard and uninvited attention to our area.

Please do not destroy our beautiful Gilroy wine country. That is why we moved to Gilroy off Burchell Road, to live in paradise. This substation will destroy our neighborhood charm, impact the environment all around us all and devalue a large part of the Gilroy wine region. This substation should never happen. please relocate to an industrial area, not in this pristine environment surrounding Gilroy.

Chitactac Adams Heritage County Park is located near the Watsonville-C Redwood Retreat location. The park is a beautiful and culturally significant park where many students and community groups go to visit. An archaeologist with the state parks said that there are documented archeological sites throughout the area. PG&E is supposed to check all clearing house records. Some of my other concerns: Scenic 152 Ruin views and vistas seen from all different locations and elevations. Transformers/ hazmat materials contaminating vital underground water resources. Habitats- plant/animal Increased road traffic / substation maintenance Economic impact / home values

I am against this and all of the other major developments currently underway in our "small town" I'm a 4th generation born and raised Gilroyan. We won't be a small town for long if we keep allowing all of this extensive growth, why does PG&E feel the need for a new substation? Couldn't have anything to do with the numerous, large housing and industrial developments that were supposed to be "good for us" could it? Hmmm open your eyes to the big picture folks.

PG&E: Your proposed sites within the Watsonville Road corridor demonstrate your complete disregard of the environmental and visual damage!
