This is a terrible way to treat a residential neighborhood. The traffic and pollution will devalue homeowners investment.
Protect your citizens and their homes over giving profit to a corporation.

Plus the nighttime light pollution and traffic noise would have a detrimental impact to the residents in this area.

That intersection is already bad enough with 2 lanes going into 1 from 34 to Lexington avenue and this would make it so much worse

A gas station at this location will degrade nearby residential property values, create traffic congestion, and increase light, noise, and ground pollution. It will lead to more commercial development that is not aligned with smart growth principles.

I am very much opposed to a gas station, etc. going in on Old Lexington Rd.
I do not want to have the noise or lights of a commercial property of any kind on this site.
This is a subdivision with homes & I do not want to devalue our property!

While it’s not my personal belief that we should dictate property use to owners in a general sense. This would be a burden to property owners in the subdivision and create traffic control issues. As the proposed plat is currently configured it should not be approved.

Old Lexington Road is very inappropriate for an entrance to a busy Gas/Convenience store. The intersection of Old Lexington and Hwy 34 are too close to the major intersection of 34 and 2168, this would cause major uncontrolled congestion at this intersection. The traffic, light, noise, congestion, and chaos of a Five Star in this location would be an undue burden to the well established Weisiger Woods subdivision. This development would degrade the property value in this RESIDENTIAL area.

This area is not appropriate for a gas station. It is not needed and would degrade the area in so many ways.

There does not need to be a gas station in a residential neighborhood. There are no other commercial buildings close to this location.

My property is affected by this. We have wrecks at that intersection many times a month. One of the most dangerous stretches in the county

I live on E. Lexington Ave., just around the bend from the stretch of road by the property being considered. We already have a convenience store/service station on that road, and very close access to others just a few blocks away. The northern bypass should not become more congested by commercial activity when alternative stations are already available.
