No need for an additional gas station on Lexington Avenue.

A gas station on this corner is completely unnecessary, as there are already multiple Five Star stations and a gas station right down the road from there. This would diminish the beautiful area coming into town from that direction and cause more traffic.

Terrible place for a large business, it will cause unbearable congestion to all travelers and cause much danger in a family neighborhood

This location would be an accident waiting to happen and is not appropriate so close to a residential area. It would likely pave the way for increased commercial development in an area of town that serves as a beautiful entrance to our little town. The added light pollution, traffic congestion and noise is not needed here.

A gas station on this property would be unsafe, unsightly and unnecessary.

We do not need another 5 star and not in this area!

As a home owner less than 1/4 mile from this location I do not agree with this placement for a 5 star. Keep the area non-commercialized.

This is one of the most picturesque entrances to our city, please don’t sully it with a huge gas station!

No way do we need this. The building and destruction around this town is out of control. We need roads that are driveable all over Danville not sidewalks. We have enough service stations and subdivisions! We are losing our small town charm in a big way.

I am opposed to the addition of a gas station at the named intersection of our community.

Wrecks from stop light towards Kemper Lane are too many now. Please do not add more congestion!

This would be an eyesore for those coming into our town in my opinion and it would also cause major traffic congestion issues in this already busy area of Danville. Not to mention, it would be much too close to the pre-existing church. It may be ok to build a little further down the road toward the roundabout or possibly even in that area but diagonal from the proposed location but I don’t feel that it should go where it’s proposed to go currently at all.

I live on cardinal drive and my property backs up to the proposed gas station. We purchased this house to get away from living close to stuff like that. The intersection is already busy and a gas station will only create a bottle neck in traffic. We also don’t want typical gas station riff raff this close to our home and I believe this will significantly reduce the value of our property.

I travel this route daily and would be dangerous and cause too much congestion at this intersection

The newest five star in Danville has caused enough traffic problems. We do not need another in this location. It’s completely unnecessary
