Covid-19 vaccination is now mandatory for all apprentices to attend class. No exceptions. This vaccine is NOT approved by the FDA, and has with no factual research available, or knowledge of long term effects. Saying no to this mandate results in the ability to gain class hours and obtain the completion of our program taken away. No journeying out for those who worked hard to reach that goal. THIS INCLUDES ALL TRADES UTILIZING THE TRAINING CENTER/UNION HALL
As we all know, millwrights’ day is dangerous, being filled with unavoidable and or unknown cause for injury or death. Why knowingly and purposely add in another hazard? The brothers and sisters in 1529 had the courage to choose this career anyway. Us few, stood strong, relentless, and most importantly TOGETHER, when others didn’t have what it took to be part of our family. We are now saying NO to being bullied into ingesting this poison. We are standing beside our brothers and sisters. No means no!

We are approaching one hundred signatures which serves as the threshold for requesting a formal meeting with center leadership. I am currently finalizing a letter to the trustees and this additional volume will strengthen our position during the initial review.

Carpenter Apprentice, Local 777. In need less then 100 class hours to turnout. I haven’t worked all this time for that to be taken from me.
I believe it is morally wrong to force people to get a vaccination when it should Be their choice. Why not make it so if they can not show proof of vaccinations then that member is required to wear a mask during their period on the premises. If they refuse to wear a mask then they may not return until they have a mask
This should not be forced on anyone. Our union meeting is next Wednesday, I am encouraging as many of you as possible to attend so we can voice our concerns there as well!
Since when did the union become the government? Forcing people to get this vaccine in order to go to class is literally proving how weak the union leaders are becoming.. it would be a shame if we all stopped paying dues, how quickly all of this “forcing” would end.
Getting the vaccine is a choice. Forcing a brother or sister to get it against their will in order to attend a required curriculum class is extortion.
This is against our constitutional rights and well its plain out illegal.
This is against human rights to make someone put something in there body they don’t want! It’s time to take a stand and say no to the crooks and criminals in office!

Forcing people to take a vaccine that isn’t even fda approved and you can’t sue the company if you have a stroke blood clots any unforeseen health issue as a direct result of taking said vaccine is just wrong! Calling your apprentices replaceable is also super disrespectful to the men and women that pay your pension.
