Do NOT move the prison to Saratoga Springs. It doesn't make any sense and there is so much potential for growth and development because it is such a nice area! A prison would destroy property values and the wonderful community that is growing

We just built a new home in Saratoga springs. Bringing the prison to SS will undoubtedly result in me moving my family to another city.

We do not want a prison in our community. This is a family orioented community. A prison is as large as a city. It will stick out like a sore thumb, lit up like a Christmas tree with it's barbed wire and armed guards.

Do not move the prison to Eagle Mountain/Saratoga Springs Area! It would be a huge waste in the states money for areas that are the fastest growing in the state and country! There are plenty of other locations that would be better suited such as the location in Tooele County!

Please keep the prison where it is. Where homeowners and business owners know where it is. Changing locations doesn't make sense. Don' t move it into growing communities with families and children.

I'd rather see my tax dollars going to fix the prison we have. Moving it to saratoga is just going to mean relocation in another few years. Doesn't fix the problem and angers the many residents who will be neighbors to this building.

I live in Saratoga Springs and do not want a prison there or in Eagle Mountain where my parents and siblings live.

Saratoga is the fastest growing city in Utah, if the prison was put here we would be in the exact same situation as in Draper.

The prison does not belong in Saratoga Springs. Just keep it where it is if you're going to move it out away from developed areas.

Bad idea! Too many families. A LOT of kids, very young kids. I don’t even have children and can see the potential dangers involved in putting a prison out here. Not only will it stunt if not stop the economic growth. Can you imagine if we had another evacuation because of fire danger? How will that work? Is the Red Cross going to set up separate locations with the same amount of security that a prison has? I think not. The people voting on this have got to see it’s not the right decision. Unless the money that could possibly line there pockets is more important than the young families it will hurt.

We moved from Draper to The Ranches (Eagle Mountain) to get away from the Prison! We moved here with the hype of new development growth and greater appreciation opportunities. This will not help the state/County/Cities involved to increase economic or other growth for the area. I do NOT support the consideration of this site.

There is so much growth going on for families here in Saratoga Springs because it is a place where families want to raise their families and feel safe. Putting the prison in Saratoga Springs would put it so close to homes and at least three schools with young children. Also, there have been fires in the hills behind saratoga and by eagle mountain that could pose a threat to the prison if it were built there and I don't think there is any good way to evacuate a whole prison when that happens again. These are just a couple of many reasons the prison should NOT be built in Saratoga Springs.
