This is a very disrespectful plan, the waste creation alone is a very heavy burden for AC to deal with and all the disruption to the marine life and the income of locals is crazy.

I visit Belize twice a year for the great fly fishing. Over the water structures are a direct threat to the wonderful flats fishing Belize offers and will have a much larger negative economic impact to tourism over the long run than anything gained by these developments.

These were designated marine reserve areas for the important reason that are unique areas in Belize's fragile water ecosystem that can't be found or replicated anywhere in the world. They have been the lifeblood of the country economically, socially and culturally for than a thousand years. Why does the GOB think this special region can be put at risk with impunity by greedy developers? All the assurances in the world can't guarantee there will never be an "oops" that will destroy this area forever, especially if rosy economic predictions are incorrect. Preserve the heritage of Belize and its people!

The Belizian ecosphere is unique and one of the last well protected in the Caribbean. Please do not endanger it with over the water commercial developments.
