The SCHOOL COMMITTEE last night (who unanimously 5 to 0 voted to write a letter to the council zoning committee, city council STRONGLY RECOMMENDING REJECTION of the gun range proposal (based on safety and noise pollution).
1.The school committee and local residents also informed us at the meeting that Washington Oak Elementary School (1.2 miles away) and numerous abutting properties (including mine) have numerous outside PROPANE TANKS that could be easily pierced, EXPLODED if hit by an errant, ricocheting round.

Please do not allow this gun range to happen. This is a residential area. There are 2 families on this street who mean so much to me. 1 family has a child that would be greatly affected negatively by this gun range, and I worry about their safety. What this man is doing is so unfair to his neighbors. They deserve to live in peace and quiet. Please, please consider very seriously to not allow this gun range to happen. Thank you!

I don´t even live in the country but this is madness, no way would it be allowed in Europe, how can the most powerful country in the world, with the highest death rate by guns, permit this, it defies belief. As they say common sense isn´t very common, in this instance it never existed.

Little by little the enjoyment of our homes is being ruined or taken away. It's time to respect what we have worked so hard for and let us enjoy it without having to worry about safety and noise from something like this

Several friends live close to this proposed site. I couldn't imagine visiting them with this nearby, let alone the fact they'd have to LIVE near this!

A gun range does not belong near a residential neighborhood. A reality of our world today is turning on the news, and hearing of the latest story of gun violencce, A gun range in Coventry is a huge liability for the town.

This is the last thing that Coventry needs!!! There are too many horses and farms in that area, they will be frightened. We visit horses in Town Farm Rd frequently, and we don’t need the horses to spook while we are riding.

We do NOT need this in a residential neighborhood so close to a school that the children and teachers will hear gunfire. Isn't it bad enough they have to fear for that every day? It would be traumatizing.
