Totally against this proposal no matter how "safe" the "experts" say it will be.

This should not be so close to a residential area and schools.

Considering all things going on in our country, I do not want my children to become decensitized to the sound of gunshots at their school. I don’t want to hear this at my home either.

This is invading the sanctity of people's homes. This is inviting sound pollution to the area which will be heard in a two square mile radius.

Please do not let this happen. There is a range on rt 3 on tiigue ave. We have a elementary school in the immediate area. We also don't need all kinds of people driving in with weapons in our neighborhood. We have lived here for 20 years. We love coventry and our neighborhood. A huge gun range like this a few streets away would be horrible..Don't need the constant noise and have to worry about stray bullets.. we moved here and raised our family to avoid these things.

The only reason the town might pass this is due to them believing it would rack in more money from taxes, but would a gun range in a residential area really be enough to outbalance the steep drop of house value in the area, never mind the noticeable risks. The town should have informed the parents of every student attending Washington Oak due to the fact that their children are at risk. Military grade rifles can fire up to 2 miles, all it takes is 1 misfire for an accident to occur.

That is too close to a school where children and or adults could get shot.
