I live in Coventry and I oppose this. This was shoved thru the boards with no public information until recently. The residents that abut the property should not be forced to have deal with the ever growing list of issues this facility creates.

I am pro-gun but would not want a range that close to my home. I live in Western Coventry and hate the gunfire that goes on during hunting season.

This gun range does not belong in a residential neighborhood. If this road was isolated in deep woods like many other ranges in RI, then maybe only maybe it would be allowed. Just a bad idea all around!

The tax revenue for the town would be lower if this goes through, sure it will bring in some taxes, but the logic isn't there. Home values will decrease gigantically, and it will decrease the quality of life so greatly. There truly won't even be that much traffic for establishment, rifle hunting is illegal in rhode island, giving people more of a reason to go to ranges in other states that they can actually hunt in. Or if they are a Rhode Island resident, go to firing ranges for guns that are legal for hunting in the state. They are illegal because the state is so small and there isn't enough open land. That goes to show the danger of these military grade weapons with bullets the size of a persons hand.

My grandparents are at 708 town farm rd, they are the closest to the land they want the range on. the change of a misfire is rare but it still has a change, my 7yr old sister and 2yr old brother play in the backyard along with family all the time. and i feel this has a impact on wildlife and pets. PLEASE NO GUN RANGE!
