I have been reading your messages about how frustrating it feels to lose control over our own machines. This forced integration of our software updates into a corporate portal feels like a total violation of how we should be allowed to use our hardware. I am currently compiling your feedback to send directly to their support team so they cannot ignore the people who actually buy their products.

Seeing this kind of momentum confirms that I am not the only one frustrated by being forced into an ecosystem I never asked for. It honestly feels like a weight has been lifted to know so many of you value your digital independence as much as I do.

I really hate where apple has been going lately. everything is about controlling the user and locking us into their ecosystems. just let me update my stuff without all the store nonsense.
Ridiculous. I payed for the hardware and the software already. Why do I need to jump through hoops just to get security patches on my own machine? Leave it how it is.
