I support Alternative 2. Our townhome community butts up against the wall next to the existing freight train tracks near the Galleria Mall. Regularly throughout the day, every day, trains pass by. The sound is loud and causes my hanging wine glasses to shake and rattle. If Metro builds a commuter rail in our backyard, there will be even more frequent noise and disruption. Please choose Alternative 2.

Against additional tracks being added to the ROW, support the route along Hawthorne.

It's just unfathomable that this even even in consideration, especially since such a brilliant alternative is is right there for the taking and would make Metro the heroes vs. the heartless bad guys. YES to Hawthorne 2e! Heck NO to ROW.

Hawthorne makes more sense! Revitalize businesses. The gas pipelines are literally in our townhome community's backyard. The pipelines and vibrations from constant train traffic would be a safety concern for residents and property.

My wife and I went on two walking tours.
Both made it obvious that hawthorne is the best choice. And we live blocks away from the rail. The backyard people would be devastated. Their neighborhoods wrecked. Please be active. Vote hawthorne.

If Metro decides to go down Condon Ave/ROW, it will effectively destroy and displace families and hard working residents lives.

Absolutely do not want 3 tracks next to Condon. This is a residential neighborhood. Every year we get a letter from Shell Gas Co warning is not to even plant a flower because of the danger. Now it’s ok to move the existing train track and add 2 more tracks running trains every 6/10 minutes for about 20 hours. Definitely it puts us in extreme danger.

No to metro disrupting all the residents in Lawndale! Please stop metro thank you.
I agree that if Metro chooses to extend the Green Line through the Harbor ROW Subdivision with Alternative 1, there will be constant commuter trains running through the backyards of thousands of residents- spreading noise and air pollution, damaging foundations through vibration, and plummeting home values. The entire community would feel the negative impact of snarled traffic at every crossing, and it would mean the destruction of the Harbor ROW green belt. There are also huge safety concerns, as trains would be running past schools and parks where children play, and along a major gas line that has a history of destructive accidents. Finally, crime follows train lines - and we do NOT want potential criminals peering into the windows of our homes and watching our children as they ride by.
Thank you for listening.
