NO on Logos College

Please do NOT reconsider the April 18th vote on theLogos Youth Group building. The location is in a busy area with limited parking and the building itself is too large for that residential area. When my children were young teens in the 90’s, a group of people sponsored a youth group place to hang out in theOld Cora Mart building. Though the project was heavily advertised and promoted, it had very few teens who actually even showed up.thank you to to Mr. Benzian and Mr. Donovan for recognizing that the proposedyouth center would be inappropriate for our town.

Immediately, Coronado plaintiffs-residents must pay a good attorney to file in the appropriate court: (1) an Injunction to estop all further city government action on this risky boondoggle, and (2) a General Plan Lawsuit alleging all of the violations of the Coronado General Plan (your controlling local Land Use Law that binds all Coronado city government actions) committed by the responsible parties. Enjoy the Legal Discovery Process, if you still need additional proof of how risky Coronado Overdevelopment is used deliberately as a tool to hide the $750+ MILLION government debt, which you and generations of Coronado children are responsible to pay (as future Coronado taxpayers). Otherwise, say "goodbye" to your quiet residential neighborhoods, along with your projected rates of increase in your property values. And say "hello" to worse traffic congestion, noise, pollution, etc. The choice is clear. Each day residents fail to act in court as above, it gets harder and more expensive to stop a Coronado Juggernaut Overdevelopment Boondoggle (ConJOB) such as this one (and all of the other ConJOBs). Property is zoned residential, but planned use is clearly commercial. Unlike the Hanson Mansion, the City got this vote right. Don't care who owns it, or how much $$$ they have - this site/project deserves NO further consideration or vote.

I am 100% against this building!!! What is happening to this town???? We are over building and our traffic is out of control. Stop, please.

Construction of such a large facility requires much more consideration than a "Major Special Use Permit". This is a complete change of ZONING, which is unacceptable by any standards.

I have a 4-generation family history on Coronado. This smells like a land grab by billionaires who have little interest in the lives, interests, or needs of Coronado's residents. Color me a hard no on this.

Find a better place for the structure and be fully transparent on the dealings of the project. The community doesn't need this, it needs housing.

I vote to move into the 21st Century ... ancient nonsensical practitioners who wish to impose their will on the youth of today have no place

If Logos College removes citizens from its public meetings, I want no part of them around our youth.

We already have more youth centers than we need. This would require major re-zoning that would have a negative impact on the rest of the community.

The capacity cannot be contained and any “agreed upon” condition may have to go to court to be enforced if violated. (Per the city attorney). Add the required parking spaces (79 per code) and happy to revisit.
