There is absolutely no reason for this type of over development. First of all, kids do not to be indoors reading the "bible" they need to be at the library reading science, math, and history. Second, that part of town can simply not handle a structure that large.

I opposed the MSUP proposed for 970 C Avenue, and for any undertaking in the City which would add to the traffic and parking issues that residents face daily.

A tremendous waste of space and resources. Everyone who is in favor needs to do a case study in our city’s last failed attempt at a teen center in the late 90s. I have no reason to believe this will be different, and the parking and traffic concerns are very real.

As the former owner of the ElCordova Garage I would add me voice to the people that are against this project. I have witness the street for over 28 years and there is to much traffic now. Think what it will do if this is approved. An 85 unit underground garage, it will be horrible.

I do not believe this is an appropriate use for this space and location, and the plans have been less than forthcoming. I applaud the city council members who voted "no" and will definitely be taking this into consideration in elections.
