Pipelines inevitably leak and we cannot take a chance on contaminating the Memphis aquifer. Block this pipeline!

Please dont make Memphis the next Flint..we the people need clean water..big corporations have proven time and time again that big money is more important then peoples health..I watched the Dakotas yes they poisoned their Aquafir with mining!! I've watch Minnesota do the same. Please we are one of the last areas in the USA that have this wonderful resource..dont let greed poison our future!!!

Water and our aquifer are vital resources that cannot be played with. Once they are gone, they are gone. No amount of money is worth risking the lifeline of humanity.

This is not safe. Find a different way to do this. We already have water crises happening and you would just be another problem.

We ask that our local governments stand up for the community and take the following measures to protect our aquifer: (1) pass a resolution opposing the pipeline; (2) pass ordinances protecting the MLGW wellfields and protecting local wellhead protection zones; (3) decline to authorize the crossing of city and county roadways by the pipeline, and (4) decline to sell easements or land to the pipeline company.
