I am a native Memphian, and will fight to keep my community safe! Our water is amazing, but our people are are greatest asset. This puts us all in danger.

My parents moved to southwest Memphis the year I was born. During my childhood the neighborhood was not like it is today. My parents worked hard to provide me and my siblings with a safe environment to grow up in. My father is now deceased and my mother and I reside there. My parents sacrificed a lot to make their house a home. Working extra jobs and shifts to have the home that now stands. My neighborhood may not look like Germantown and Collierville but this is our home. We deserve the best as well! My mother is heartbroken over what these companies are trying to do in our neighborhood. Enough is enough! Remember... IF YOU DON’T STAND FOR SOMETHING, YOU WILL FALL FOR ANYTHING!!!! Environmental RACISM MUST CEASE!! ✊

Do not build the pipeline. Water is a more precious resource than oil. Once contaminated, it cannot be undone.

We are already being faced with possible contaminates in or water because of busted water mains and we as residents in the southwest area of this city oppose running fuel pipelines through our area for even greater risk to our water supply

The fossil fuel industry must learn to respect EVERY community it impacts, not to speak of the global environment and climate. It must learn to change its ways and quickly. No Byhalia Connection Pipeline!
