I grew up in the Memphis area that is at risk and I find it beyond unbelievable that . They (Valro) have bypassed several other communities that have mixed race communities and settled at doing the project in this community of minority black families. This is a project that could effect the water, air and soil of people surrounding the pipeline . I am so devastated that a corporation can could come and propose such a deathly threat on people that I love and grow up with. That a corporation could come and take land from people and families that have lived there for decades . I pray that they do not succeed.

Gambling the future of a community’s clean drinking water for temporary profit is entirely unacceptable.

Our city prides itself on our drinking water. To take that right away from every citizen of memphis is a massive injustice. A disgusting political move that clearly prioritizes profits over people.

Environmental consciousness should include mindfulness for marginalized communities, economic disparity, and access to viable and nonlethal bear necessities like drinkable water.

I do not want a pipeline endangering our water supplies. Let truckers make the money transporting it. We do not want this on our land. We've already seen pipelines ruin water.
