This is environmental racism and as a predominantly Black and Brown community Memphis needs to do better for its people. This is unacceptable and we see you Memphis council. You will not threaten the safety of our water here.

Not worth the risk when so few benefit (profit).

It is shameful to threaten the quality of our pristine water source and the communities who depend on it. Vote against this pipeline, do not sell out the citizens of this city for profit!

I am a Memphis native born raised and still live here! There is something to be said that we are still able (and prefer) to ask for tap water at restaurants and choose tap water at home, the best tasting I’ve ever had! Don’t kill our fountain of youth! It’s one of the last pure water sources we have left in this country!

The possibility of contaminated drinking water is unacceptable and should not even be considered EVER. Especially on an aquifer that services much of the midsouth.

How could you put money over the lives of thousands of people, especially when you already have enough for more then your lifetime.

This is dangerous to public health for minimal benefits.

Disgusting that they are even trying to do this. If they let the pipeline be constructed I will definitely advocate against voting for everyone who approves of this.
