Memphis has had enough problems. Stop this one before it is the next environmental tragedy. Did everyone forget that we are over due for a huge earthquake in the area?

My Memphis Midtown home was built in 1918 it still has value It is very racially devirse. I will not be here in 2118, but there is no reason my house should not be here. The house was built with a cistern in order to have clean fresh water. We should have to go back to cisterns.. We should not go back to whites only neighborhoods. That oil will be here in 2118.

We will not stand for the systemic racial injustices of black and brown communities to be continuously victimized by greedy people who only cares about lining their pockets. Memphis never had a problem with drinking water after a snowstorm or an ice storm. The water is brown and unsafe to drink because the ground has been disturbed. Eminent domain never benefits the residents and should not be approved by the Memphis City Council. Congressman Steve Cohen must fight against this for the City of Memphis.

The least we could ask for is for these companies to fix EVERY SINGLE PIECE of failing infrastructure in Shelby County before approving this guaranteed disaster. In other words, Valero and PAAP can kick rocks. To the city council, if you let this happen, you are letting down your constituents and you should feel bad about that.
