The new timetable at PSC has two doubles and one single per subject and starts only half an hour later, making no difference to the travel times for those who either get the train or live far away. Doubles also lack focus, particularly in the second half of the period, meaning that our attainment and engagement would decrease. The change literally makes no sense.

One double per subject is enough as it is. You’ll find that the majority of students think it is easier to concentrate in a single. Focus on improving transport for students for have to wait 3 hours for the bus rather than this.
Students with ADHD or other attention difficulties, will not be able to concentrate for the whole double.
There is no benefit of this timetable apart from paltry amount of time taken from the morning. I know that I work better in short chunks and thus this timetable will be detrimental to my studies; what's more, as I live so far away my travel will be affected. Please keep the timetable as normal!!
Study’s show that you can’t concentrate effectively for 2 hours without breaks so why should we have to work for 2 hours at college it is ineffective for our learning and ultimately as students we will all struggle more as a direct result of the new time table. This is poorly thought out and NEEDS to be changed.
This new timetable drains students of energy and makes us work like robots. Many of our students suffer with a mental illness, doubles will simply make their college life worse and therefore their mental health worse, when we should be actively supporting and making life easier for these students.
I do not feel the new time table is necessary, furthermore the proposed new timetable is nonsensical in many obvious ways.
This is completely unnecessary.

I already have two doubles of chemistry and although it gives me two days off of chemistry in my time table it takes away a lot of the enjoyment when we have 2 double theory lessons in a week
