No New Dispensary

No!!

I live around the corner of the proposed dispensary. There is already a dispensary just a few blocks away - we don't need another one! And there are so many small children in our neighborhood - this is inappropriate

Traffic at the other dispensary on Shattuck, 4 blocks north, is a nightmare. Stupid people in a hurry to get their drugs frequently disobey common sense, and safe drivig rules. Please, no dispensary at that location! Traffic is already insane at that corner.

I agree - Already have dispensary down the street. I regularly see customers using in their cars or nearby side streets. Too close to kids and school routes. Not a fit for our neighborhood - NO THANK YOU

This is too close to neighborhood with many children and we already have people parking on our street and smoking weed. There is another dispensary just around the corner

This makes no sense with the location of the other dispensary and is absolutely unfit for the number of very young children attending school within blocks of the location.

Please think and consider the safety of our children,

As the petition points out, there's already a dispensary a short walk away from where this new one would go. There's no need for another one this close by, especially one so close to the schools.

Dispensaries should not be on school routes or in such close proximity to each other. We need other kinds of community services in our neighborhoods.

Marijuana dispensaries shoiuld not be located in residential mixed use buildings or near so many schools in such close proximity. As a resident of the neighborhood for over 20 years and an active member of the Neighborhood Crime Prevention Council, we have worked too hard to improve our neighborhood.

I’m highly allergic to marijuana smoke. I can barely breathe when walking in some areas of Berkeley. I can avoid going there but I live just around the corner and can’t and won’t move. It would also cause traffic and parking problems. This is a family oriented residential neighborhood and we need to keep it that way. A marijuana dispensary should be located away from a residential center, not in the middle of it.

I am not opposed to the legal sale of cannibabis. What I am opposed to is being sandwiched between two cannabis buyer clubs. One 3 blocks to the north in the city of Berkeley and the proposed one 2 blocks to the south in Oakland. Thats ridiculous!!! Is Oakland only interested in the tax revenue or is it interested in the well being of its citizens and our families.

Please, not near all our schools!
