I do not condone someone who aprtakes in actitivies or shares the same ideas or values of those who feel hate towards other groups. Additionally, they may feel that thy are superior.

"White nationalism" and hate speech should not be given any platform under any circumstances, especially at the University of Miami School of Law

As a devoted alumni, donor to the University, and Black woman, I am appalled by the suggestion of Dr. Murray as a speaker at my alma mater. I believe that I graduated from an institution that simultaneously values both evidence-based writing and the physical and psychological safety of students of color on campus. As such, Dr. Murray's scientific racism should not be endorsed by the University of Miami.

Hate speech is neither free speech nor scholarly speech. He has nothing meaningful to offer students and he shouldn't be allowed to speak on any university campus.

As a recent graduate of UM Law and a Veteran, I value the idea of free speech...but freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences. UM if you allow this form of speech on our campus, I hope you are ready to suffer the consequences...

As a student of the university of Miami this is makes me sick. As others have said Murray’s writing is bigotry and has no place in the context of useful political debate. This is not free speech, Murray is a prime example of gross prejudice and misinformation that is not based in any legitimate science. I find it incredibly disturbing that President Frenk’s promised to "denounce the rhetoric and actions of white supremacists" in a statement not even two weeks ago and now this person is welcomed to our campus. This is UNACCEPTABLE.
